Elementary Staffing Changes

Staffing changes are ongoing at the elementary schools in Grinnell.  The candidate who had previously accepted a CARES guidance position recently declined the position and now Lori Wolf has accepted the open position.  We look forward to having Lori work at the three elementary schools this fall.

We will soon be hiring an additional third grade teacher due to the increasing number of third grade students.  Although third grade class lists have already been sent out, some third grade students will be reassigned and their parents notified of the change in the near future.  We are glad we can add another section of third grade to maintain a lower class size.  

Sharon Terpstra, remedial reading and math teacher at Bailey Park, has also resigned and a replacement will soon be obtained.  Keep watching for further developments! 

Walk-in registration is next week, August 4, at the Grinnell Middle School.  Be sure to send in your registration as soon as possible or come on to the Middle School on August 4 to register your students.
