Leesa Hodgson and Emily Small, third grade students of Mrs. Gantz, enjoy reading together.Reading is a focus area at Davis Elementary this school year. Mrs. Gantz, third grade teacher, encourages reading by having her students read to and with each other. Students choose partners, a reading location, and then read the assigned story. Students help each other understand the story and sometimes complete a related assignment together. Reading together helps motivate students and they can often help each other with difficult words or in understanding the story.
