Can you volunteer?

All of the elementary schools have many opportunities for volunteering.  We need volunteers to assist teachers with preparing learning activities for students, helping with paperwork, reading with and to students, or working with individual students or small groups of students.  Think about how you can help in your child's classroom or other places in the schools.  If you can volunteer please pick up a volunteer packet at the Central Office (927 4th Avenue) or at the walk-in registration on August 4 at the Grinnell Middle School.  All volunteers must have a background check and physical prior to beginning as volunteers so starting the process before the first day of school allows volunteers to begin at an earlier date.  School will be in session beginning August 20!
